About CourseThis online Back to School Safety and Wellbeing class will prepare children to go back to school safely after lockdown. It will focus on developing practical skills and habits as well as promoting children's social and emotional wellbeing so that they feel safe and confident returning to school.
Who Is This Class Suitable For?
This online Back to School Safety & Wellbeing class is suitable for primary school children aged 7 to 9 years old who will be returning to school this academic year.
Why Is This Class Important?
Returning to school in the midst of a global pandemic is a daunting experience for many parents and children. This class aims to equip children with the knowledge, skills and emotional support necessary to return to school safely and confidently.
How Does It Work?
This class will be delivered live online using face-to-face video conferencing on Wednesday, August 26th @ 10:30am. The class will be approximately 45 minutes long.
After enrolling, parents will be sent an email link to join the class on the specified day at the specified time. We use join.me for video conferencing which is extremely simple to use and user friendly. Instructions for logging into the class will be sent to you and we are also happy to do a test session before the actual class to make sure there are no connectivity issues on the day.
As this class is delivered live, places are extremely limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis. If you cannot make the class after enrolling, please contact us so that we can transfer your space.
Please, only enrol children aged 7-9 years old in this class as the lesson content is pitched at this level. Children aged 10-12 years old can sign up for an age-appropriate class here.
Who Is The Teacher?
Emer is a fully-qualified primary school teacher who has been providing grinds at Premier Tuition Centre for over 5 years. She specialises in the provision of literacy and numeracy tuition to children of all ages and has trained with the Dyslexia Association of Ireland.
