6th Class Maths Course
Fractions, Decimals and Percentages is an area that children regularly struggle with. In fact, our secondary school Maths teacher has told us that it’s an area that secondary school students also struggle with! This is why it’s so important that children develop a firm foundation in this particular area.
This August, we will are running a Maths course for pupils going into 6th Class in September 2021. This course will take place for 1 week, Monday-Friday, at our tuition centre in Limerick and will cover the topic of Fractions.
Unless children have a good understanding of fractions, they will not develop a good understanding of decimals and percentages and they will also struggle with problem solving in each of these areas.

What Will Be Taught?
This 6th Class Maths course will be delivered by a fully qualified and experienced teacher using child-centred, multi-sensory games and activities to make the lessons fun, interactive and engaging.
Some of the areas that will be covered include:
- Equivalent fractions
- Adding and subtracting fractions
- Multiplying fractions
- Mixed number operations
- Problem solving with fractions
Where, When & How Much?
This 6th Class Maths course will be delivered at our tuition centre in Castletroy, Limerick. Each class is 1 hour long and will be delivered Monday to Friday, August 16th-20th, from 10am-11am daily.
The fee for this course is €129.
