Attendance Policy

FAQs and Terms & Conditions

Regular attendance is crucial to your child’s academic success. If a student cannot attend a class, 24 hours notice is required. Cancellations are only accepted by phone call.

If 24 hours notice is given, an alternative date for a rescheduled class will be provided for the student. Rescheduled classes must be availed of before the end of the tuition programme that the student has paid for. We understand that schedules can vary and we will make every effort to accommodate your availability. However, if the proposed alternative date does not suit your needs, we regret that we are not obligated to provide further alternatives.

If we receive less than 24 hours notice, or if the student does not show up for a class, the absence is unexcused and the class will not be rescheduled.

For online classes, students who are unable to attend will get access to the class recording and any accompanying notes.

In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled by the teacher, Premier Tuition Centre will provide a rescheduled class.

If a student is absent for 3 or more consecutive classes, their space will be made available on our timetable for new enrolments.

FAQs - Online Grinds

Our online grinds are delivered live using Zoom. Access to the class differs depending on the type of device used (laptop/tablet/phone) but instructions will be sent to parents or students upon enrolling. We also encourage parents and students to avail of the test sessions offered in order to ensure that there are no difficulties connecting. This should not take longer than 15 minutes.

Teachers deliver the content using PowerPoint presentations, virtual whiteboards and online textbooks and worksheets. Any material that the student might need for the class is provided in advance using a virtual classroom environment. Homework, class notes and assignments are also shared to the virtual classroom environment after the class.
