Meet The Teachers

An image of Shane, a French and Irish tutor at Premier Tuition Centre with two of his students standing beside him - a boy to the left and a girl to the right.

Shane is a fully qualified and experienced secondary school Irish teacher. He also works as a State Examiner for the State Examinations Commission (SEC), grading the mock oral and written examinations for the Junior and Leaving Cert. This means that Shane has an excellent understanding of what students need to know in order to succeed in the Junior and Leaving Cert Irish exams as well as common pitfalls and how to avoid them.

Shane holds an honours Bachelor of Arts degree and Professional Masters of Education from the University of Limerick. His Leaving Cert Irish grinds cover all aspects of the syllabus, including reading, writing, speaking and listening, grammar work, vocabulary development, sentence structure and essay writing. All of his students are provided with comprehensive notes to simplify revision and solidify what has been covered in class.

With a passion for teaching, Shane goes above and beyond, investing significant time and effort into crafting engaging classes and providing invaluable notes, cheat sheets and memory aids to ensure his students reach their full potential. Shane is a registered member of the Teaching Council and Garda vetted.
