Build Your Child's Self-Esteem

Standing Tall: Building Self-Esteem and Self Awareness is a 3-day programme that has been carefully developed by psychotherapist Julie Golden for children aged 11-13 years old who may be presenting with issues such as low confidence or a lack of self-esteem.

Self-Esteem Can Be Learned

The pressures and strains of today’s modern world means that more and more children are presenting with issues relating to low self-esteem and a lack of self-confidence. 

The good news, however, is that with the right support and expertise, self-esteem can be nurtured, developed and mastered. 

In fact, laying the foundations for healthy self-esteem in childhood is crucial to leading a happy, fulfilled and successful life in adulthood.

Fun & Creative Approach

Over the course of 3 days, Julie will use a range of fun and creative approaches and activities to help build your child’s self-esteem so that they grow into happy, confident and well-adjusted teenagers.  

Through the use of child-centred methodologies such as stories, videos and role play, children will learn:

Meet The Tutor

Julie, founder of Edit Your Life, is a psychotherapist who works with children, adolescents and adults who present with issues such as anxiety, confidence, self-esteem and self-awareness. She holds a BA (Hons) in Psychotherapy & Counselling and works with clients through her private practice and as a pupil support worker with the Schools Completion Program in a primary school setting.

Julie is a competent and reflective practitioner and is eager to promote health and well-being. She creates a non-judgmental and caring space for everyone she supports. She is a dynamic facilitator who engages with young children in a fun and creative way, gently promoting their self-awareness and personal growth.
